Birthday Video renders the preview in your browser. This policy describes what is sent to us when you use the customiser or ask for a video file.

What we receive

While you type, nothing is sent to us: the name, age, message and sender stay in the page and are used to draw the preview.

Share links

A share link encodes your text in the part of the address after the # symbol. Browsers do not send that part to a server, so sharing works without us storing anything. Anyone who has the link can read the text in it.

Rendering a file

When you ask for a video file, the parameters of the video (the same fields) are sent to the render worker that produces it. That worker is operated by us and receives only those parameters.

Cookies

We set one first-party cookie, birthday_locale, to remember which language page you last read. It is never used to redirect you and it contains no personal data.
